What started off as an idea from the Kalis Group back in 2009 when they were tasked to rebuild the old Myer site, transpired into a vision to introduce an internationally branded hotel to Hobart. From there, Kalis Group decided that IHG shared the values and feelings of Tasmania and the vision for Crowne Plaza Hobart was born. 11 years later the amazing hotel is open!
